General Prize Giveaway Terms and Conditions

These general terms & conditions are applicable to all competitions run by Instant Finance Limited, unless otherwise specified.

By entering this competition, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions.

All details and instructions (including ‘how to participate instructions’, supplemental draw and prize information and Participation Agreements) form part of the terms and conditions of the Competition.

In the event of any inconsistency between these general terms and conditions and the specific terms and conditions for any Competition, the specific terms and conditions will take precedence.
Who can enter

To participate in and/or claim a prize in the Competition, you must be aged 18 years or over as of the date of entry and residing in New Zealand.

Entries must be made by individual consumers only. Entries from trade customers, agents, organised groups third parties, or those generated automatically by computer or other automated means will not be accepted.

Instant Finance and its associated companies’ employees, agencies and contractors, or anyone else professionally involved in the Competition, and their immediate families (including spouses, grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren) are not eligible to participate in the Competition.
How to enter

To enter the prize draw, customers must complete the full Instant Finance application process, either online via the Instant Finance website or in person in an Instant Finance Branch.

Unless otherwise stated in any specific terms and conditions, Instant Finance will only accept one entry per person into each Competition. If the Competition is limited to one entry, Instant Finance reserves the right at its sole discretion to remove any multiple or duplicate entries.

By submitting an entry, prize winners agree to be named and have their name and/or image used in promotional material to announce and celebrate the promotion result.

To be eligible to win, entrants must provide valid contact details upon request. Entries must be submitted under the entrant’s own name. By entering a prize draw, you consent to Instant Finance contacting you via any of the contact details provided at the time of entry.
Dates

Unless otherwise stated in the specific terms and conditions, the competition will run from 8am, Monday the 3rd of November 2025 until 5pm, Friday the 12th of December 2025. No entries will be accepted outside of the applicable promotional period.

Prize winners will be notified as soon as reasonably practicable following any draw or award. Instant Finance reserves the right to redraw or reallocate any prize if a winner cannot be contacted within 3 working days, as determined by Instant Finance at its sole discretion.

Travel must take place between the 31st of January 2026 and 31st of March 2026, and can only be booked for departure at least 7 days post notification of details to Instant Finance.
Further Terms and Conditions

In the event of a dispute, Instant Finance’s decision is final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. However, if you do have a complaint regarding this promotion, you can lodge a complaint using our online complaints form

Instant Finance reserves the right to suspend or modify the Competition, or these terms and conditions, where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to events such as natural disasters, technical failures, changes in law, or other factors affecting timing or destination. Any such changes will be communicated as soon as reasonably practicable.

Prizes are as stipulated and are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. In the event that the prize specified in the Competition is not available for any reason, Instant Finance may substitute the prize for another prize of like value. Instant Finance will not be responsible for the cancellation or postponement of any prize.

Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Instant Finance will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever incurred by any participant (including but not limited to any indirect or consequential loss). All prizes are taken entirely at the participant’s own risk. Participants indemnify Instant Finance against any claim for accident or loss of life, personal injury, property damage or other loss, cost or expense arising in connection with the Competition or any prize.

Instant Finance complies with all relevant New Zealand privacy laws and regulations. By participating in the Competition, entrants acknowledge and agree that Instant Finance, along with its authorised agents and contractors, may collect and store their personal information for the purpose of administering the Competition and for marketing related products and services offered by Instant Finance and its affiliated entities from time to time.

Participants have the right to access, update, or request the removal of any personal information held by Instant Finance Ltd. All such requests must be submitted in writing and directed to Instant Finance Ltd.
